Leszek Niedałtowski becomes the President of PIBUiR

The new Board of the Polish Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers′ Association has been established. During its first meeting on the 9th of July, it also selected the supreme organization authorities. Leszek Niedałtowski has been selected as the President of the Chamber, discharging duties of vice-president of the Board in STBU Insurance Brokers.

"In the activity of the Chamber, I would like to put special emphasis on promoting and spreading the corporate governance standards in the broker environment. In my opinion, the position of the broker profession in public opinion can and should be significantly improved. However, it requires consistent actions within informing the public opinion about the actual involvement of a broker in the random risk management process of his clients and not to come down his role to an independent intermediary during the process of conclusion of insurance agreements. The essential factor having impact on the position of the environment in the public opinion is, in my opinion, full transparency of the activity of the broker companies. I hope that in realization of these and other objectives, we succeed in consolidation the efforts and take common actions with other organizations of our professional self-government" - newly chosen President of PIBUiR stated.

The Polish Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers′ Association exists since 2003. It unites the economic entities with the insurance broker status. Its main task is to create proper conditions for carrying on business and to represent the interests of professional brokers.
